Despite the climatic hazards of the 2021 vintage, Domaine Seguin-Manuel’s expertise combined with the excellent exposure of this parcel have produced a wine of incredible finesse, with a light ruby color punctuated by beautiful garnet highlights. On the nose, greedy aromas of cherry and redcurrant are enhanced by floral notes and a touch of spice. The velvety, well-structured palate reveals discreet oak and silky tannins. Elegant aromatic persistence on the finish.
Tastes fresh and fruity now, but will develop complexity over the next 5-6 years.
Delicious and highly refined, this wine is a perfect match for quail stuffed with foie gras.
