The 2023 vintage of this Marsannay shows fine freshness and the typical elegance of the appellation: on the nose cherry fruit, undergrowth and a slight graphite edge from the limestone of the “Clos de Jeu” plot. On the palate the entry is soft then builds with fine, silky tannins; the body is moderate, well-balanced, and the finish is gourmet while retaining a mineral profile.
This cuvée presents itself as generous yet refined, ready to enjoy now for its vibrancy or to age a few more years.
