Produced from plots at the foot of the magnificent Corton hill, this powerful, seductive wine has a deep garnet-red color. The highly concentrated nose perfectly expresses delicious aromas of red and black fruits, dominated by cherry and enhanced by licorice, nutmeg and other sweet spices. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and delicious, combining power and balance. Tannins are present but silky, and the finish is long and subtly woody.
Although already very affordable, it will show its full potential over the next 6 years.
One of our best-sellers is prime rib à la plancha with pan-fried chanterelle mushrooms, but if you want to go off the beaten track, don’t hesitate to serve it with a chicken or lamb tagine.
