This plot of one hectare located above Pommard with a beautiful south-east exposure owes its name to the walnut trees once planted on these places. Château de Meursault produces a wine with a luminous colour of a deep ruby whose nose gives off powerful aromas of blackberries and blackcurrants with a hint of tobacco, pepper and a delicate note of rose petals. The full and creamy palate is marked by the fruit. Wine gouleyant of a beautiful balance with in the finish, a discreet woody that brings it length.
You will easily succumb to the freshness of its youth but if you let it stay 8 to 10 years in your cellar, you can enjoy it at its true value.
This pretty wine will please in the company of a guinea fowl with porcini mushrooms or a tab with a shallot but a good reblochon is far from leaving it indifferent.
