Surrounded by some of the appellation’s finest Premiers Crus, this lieu-dit produces a wine of undeniable charm that has nothing to envy its famous neighbors. This 2022 vintage boasts a brilliant pale gold color. The nose seduces with an intense bouquet combining intoxicating floral notes of hawthorn and lime blossom with greedy aromas of ripe apricot, juicy peach and mirabelle plum. The pure, slightly taut palate is marked by intensity. The rather long finish is invigorated by a touch of menthol.
Like many great whites, this wine can be enjoyed at any age, without exceeding a dozen years.
This Meursault will satisfy both fish and meat lovers. It will sublimate a fine sea bream or a creamy veal chop.
