Once again, Château de Meursault delivers a real nugget with this wine with a deep colour of an intense ruby punctuated by subtle garnet reflections. The nose releases abundant fruity aromas of ripe cherry and plum with a touch of mocha and fine spices. The palate is powerful but silky with very smooth notes. Remarkably balanced wine with a long and spicy finish.
This racy and complex wine can rest in the cellar for another 10 to 12 years.
On the freshness of youth, it will go perfectly with a nice piece of roast beef but with more evolution,
it will work wonders on game birds or furry without forgetting most of our regional cheeses.
