Produced from vines over 70 years old, giving it richness and minerality, and crafted with all the sensitivity of a woman, this cuvée is a true concentrate of elegance. The wine’s light gold color is limpid and luminous. The delicate nose releases sweet aromas of brioche, white flowers, apricot, preserved lemon and vanilla. On the palate, a straightforward attack quickly gives way to a lovely roundness and, above all, incredible finesse. The finish is mineral and subtly woody, with remarkable length.
Don’t give in too quickly to the sirens of its youth, because after a few years of rest, it will gain in opulence and give you incomparable pleasure.
While it goes perfectly with local specialties such as fricassee of frogs’ legs from the Dombes region or fish from the Saône, it can also be enjoyed with more exotic dishes such as fish tagine or sushi.
