This cuvée Claude Poyen is an blend of two climats: Saint-Julien and Plateaux. This rich wine, with aromas of black liquorice fruits will evolve into notes of leather and undergrowth. The mouth has a nice balance with a lot of freshness, velvety tannins and a great aromatic persistence.
The particularly hot and dry summer of 2018 gave a very solar vintage.
