It’s an appellation that never ceases to amaze us with the quality of its wines. Despite the difficulties of the 2021 vintage, Domaine du Château de Marsannay has produced a lovely wine, typical of its grape variety. Fairly clear to the eye, it reveals an intense nose dominated by red and black berries such as cherry, blueberry and raspberry, with hints of licorice and roasted coffee. The palate is rather structured, with plenty of freshness and fine tannins. The finish is mineral with good length.
