This 11.5-hectare estate, certified level 3 for high environmental value, is located in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. More than a family affair, this estate is above all a story of women. For several years now, Nadine Ferrand and her daughter Marine have been proving that wine can be divinely feminine. Made from clay-limestone plots in the commune of Solutré-Pouilly, this wine benefits from the excellent terroir of its famous neighbor, Pouilly-Fuissé. Its pale-yellow color with green highlights gives way to an initial nose that opens without exuberance with notes of green apple and candied citrus fruit, joined by aromas of ripe mirabelle plums. A supple, structured wine with plenty of freshness and real delicacy. Slight tension and a touch of minerality give it a lively finish.
Drink young to preserve the flattering fruit aromas.
As an aperitif, with mussels or oysters au gratin, and preferably with dry goat’s cheese.
