Overlooking the village of Gamay, on a white marl soil dominated by limestone, Les Champlots climate offers a wine of great purity. The dress with golden accents is very clear. The nose is carried by notes of linden, apricot, mandarin and fresh almond enhanced with a hint of turmeric and a subtle woodiness. Round and creamy on the palate with a slightly saline finish, this wine expresses the freshness of its terroir.
Very pleasant to drink now, it can nevertheless be kept for 5 to 6 years longer.
If it is perfectly suited to fish and seafood, it will also delight your taste buds accompanied by a good veal blanquette.
