Corton-Vergennes Grand Cru 2021, Château de Meursault

One of the Lords of the Corton hill!

In the 18th century, this magnificent climat belonged to the Comte de Vergennes, a native of Dijon and Louis XVI’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Benefiting from an excellent exposure on the famous Corton hill, the grapes grown here are of remarkable quality. With all its talent, Château de Meursault produces a deep, racy wine with a dazzling golden color. The highly refined nose releases delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruit, vanilla and honey, enhanced by subtle woody notes. Dense and well-structured on the palate, with good acidity for freshness. The finish is long and mineral.

A foie gras terrine, lobster tail or Bresse poultry with morel mushroom sauce would be a worthy accompaniment.
