Marsannay rosé 2019, Château de Marsannay
In Burgundy, it plays alone
The village of Marsannay does not produce the only rosé wine of burgundy of course, but the only wine in this color classified in communal appellation.
Pinot noir gives this rosé a real character that sets it apart from the traditional rosés of Provence. It attracts with its beautiful coppery highlights and its very expressive nose of juicy white fruit mixed with notes of grapefruit. The mouth is very fresh with a nice material.
You can drink it now for its freshness but although aging does not bring big changes, it can be kept 2 to 3 more years.
This wine fits nicely with a barbecue but it also likes to occasionally flirt with a plate of salmon tagliatelle, salads, fine charcuterie, and fish.
