The Rully vineyard, located ten kilometers west of Chalon-Sur-Saône in the limestone foothills of the Mont Saint Vincent granite massif, produces fine red wines very similar to those of certain Côte de Beaune appellations. This flattering, bright ruby-colored wine opens with a generous nose of morello cherry and blackcurrant, enhanced by a touch of licorice and fine smoky notes. Tender and fresh on the palate, with fine tannins. Balanced and delicious, with a cocoa finish.
A wine that can be enjoyed young for its delicious fruit, but which can be kept for another 5 or 6 years.
Perfect for a simple, impromptu meal. A good potato omelette with a plate of cold meats and a little cheese. In short, conviviality!
