Nested in a sumptuous setting at the foot of the majestic Roche de Vergisson, between vine-covered hillsides and old stone buildings, this 16-hectare family estate, run organically, produces lovely wines that offer excellent value for money. This Pouilly-Fuissé is a dynamic wine with a brilliant pale gold color. The discreet nose recalls the sweet scent of white flowers blended with tangy citrus notes. The palate is full-bodied and fresh with a lovely mineral expression. The finish is relatively lively with a hint of vanilla.
A pleasant wine to drink now while still fresh, but with enough structure to be kept for another 4 to 5 years.
Its mineral character is perfectly suited to a fricassee of frog legs, a pike quenelle with Nantua sauce, or a good local goat cheese.
