Located in the northern part of the Côte de Beaune, this very hilly vineyard covers the hillsides of Aloxe-Corton and Savigny-Lès-Beaune. This cuvée is produced by Olivier Leflaive, the undisputed master of Chardonnay, from the best plots in the appellation. You’ll be seduced by its elegant light-yellow color with golden highlights. The aromatic intensity of the nose opens with fragrances of honeysuckle and acacia, joined by notes of citrus, roasted hazelnuts and a touch of mint. This wine is quite greedy on the palate, well-balanced with great finesse and a beautiful minerality typical of the terroir. The finish is long and slightly woody.
Like many great whites, it will appeal to all ages.
A grilled Saint-Pierre or a Lake Geneva Féra can be magnificent table companions.
