This appellation is located in an area of confluence of two combs bringing a stream of fresh air, which encourage a slow maturation. Its soils are rich and draining.
The village of Marsannay does not yet have Premiers cru, however «Echézots» is one of the areas concerned by a request for reclassification.
Dark colour with intense ruby reflections of a beautiful shine.
The nose is greedy and expressive on notes of very ripe red fruits, with a slight hint of musk.
The attack is frank followed by a soft and full mouth. It reveals a nice concentration and elegant tannins.
Definitely a balanced, juicy and gourmet wine, with a nice length in the mouth.
Excellent on the fruit, but in this format wait another 2 or 3 years to take full advantage of it. It is good to keep another 10 to 15 years.
