Set of 6 – Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes 2021, Domaine Gonon

Located in Vergisson, at the foot of the exceptional site of Roche de Solutré, Domaine Gonon produces a plot cuvée from vines with an average age of 50 years planted on soil formed by extremely calcareous white stones. The result is a dynamic wine with a brilliant pale gold colour. The discreet nose recalls the sweet scent of white flowers marrying with tangy citrus notes. The palate is full and fresh with a beautiful mineral expression. The finish is relatively lively with a vanilla touch.Tasting :
Wine pleasant to drink on the freshness but tense enough to be kept 4 to 5 years more.

Its mineral character will be perfect for a fricassee of frogs’ legs or a salmon in gravelax.
