Savigny-Lès-Beaune Cuvée Henri Darcy 2020, vigne de l’Hospital de Dijon – Château de Marsannay

The engineer Henry Darcy known for bringing drinking water to Dijon was also a generous donor to the Hospital . This small plot of 1.05 ha located on the place called “Les Goudelettes” has been exploited for many years by the Domaine du Château de Marsannay. This 2020 vintage gives us a fine wine with a pretty cherry red color. The bouquet is carried by the small red and black fruits with a floral touch of rose and jasmine. The palate is round and ample and preserves the freshness of the fruit. The tannins are fine and discreet and the finish of a beautiful length.

Tasting :
This supple and velvety wine can be consumed young but it will benefit from a few years spent in the cellar to express its full dimension.

Pairings :
This very accessible Pinot Noir can be enjoyed as an aperitif with the very fashionable mixed charcuterie and cheese board.
