An illustrious representative of the Côte de Beaune.
This cuvée worked by the Château de Marsannay consists of the blend of two localities: “les Charmots” located to the north, on the hillside and the “Fremiers” at the bottom, near the village on deeper lands. The result is a pretty wine with a brilliant colour with shades of garnet. The nose offers a beautiful expression of ripe red fruits that marry with woody and spicy aromas. After a few years, wild notes of musk and game will not fail to develop. This first growth structured with tannins softened by a harmonious fat is perfectly balanced. The finish, of a good length kept a beautiful fruitiness.
Tasting :
Wine already pleasant to consume will evolve over the next 6 to 7 years.
Pairings :
This rustic wine will be perfect for a cuisine with quite strong and spicy flavors such as a hare stew or a lamb navarin.
