The nose displays intense, fruity aromas of blackberry, cherry and wild blueberry, with hints of licorice and light tobacco. Endowed with breed and elegance, it has managed to tame the often-brutal structure of some Pommard, while retaining the slight rusticity that characterizes them. The palate is powerful and suave, with perfectly balanced tannins, good acidity and impressive depth on the finish.

Once its youthful ardor has subsided, it’s a perfect match for quail stuffed with morel mushrooms but will also surprise you with a chocolate dessert.
