Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Fleurières Les Plantes au Baron 2017, Hospices de Nuits, cuvée des Soeurs hospitalières

This cuvée is named after the order of the Sisters Hospitallers who took care of the sick for centuries at the Hospices de Nuits and de Beaune.

Beautiful deep colour. Nose of ripe fruit, with a peppery touch. A blend of two plots, Fleurières and Plantes au Baron, this cuvée reveals a very beautiful structure.
Tannins are present and require a little time to blend. The whole is dense.
It is a structured wine while being elegant, very pleasant in the supple 2017 vintage.
A beautiful bottle that will delight guests gathered around a spring table.

Tasting :
It is already perfect to drink after half an hour of opening. It is a good wine for aging, still 8 to 9 years, that you can appreciate at all stages of its evolution.

Pairings :
Iberian pork with plancha, entrecôte maître d’hotel, cheeses half-strong.
