Montagny Premier Cru Les Terroirs 2021, Domaine Fabrice Masse

After taking over the family estate in 2000, Fabrice Masse joined forces with his uncle Roland, former manager and oenologist of the Hospices de Beaune to develop the estate’s activity. Together, these two enthusiasts produce beautiful wines that are very accessible. This Montagny 1er Cru is a good example. Its pale yellow color with gold reflections is bright. The nose, of a beautiful complexity, opens on fruity aromas of lemon and candied citron mixed with floral scents of accacia and honeysuckle with a hint of almond and vanilla. The palate is fresh and chiseled with notes of toast and butter. The finish is long and mineral with minty accents.

Tasting :
Can be drunk now but is tense enough to be kept 4 to 5 years longer.

Pairings :
Its freshness and floral register will work wonders on a crayfish casserole.
