The most beautiful representative of the Chalon coast
Fabrice Masse, who took over the family estate in Barizey, in the Saône-et-Loire region, has teamed up with his uncle Roland, a former manager and oenologist at the Hospices de Beaune, to develop a beautiful range of wines from the Chalon coast. From a rich colored purple color with ruby reflections, this wine has a very subtle nose that opens on a basket of small red and black fruits composed mainly of currants and wild strawberries. On the palate, we find all the crunch of Pinot Noir with a tannic frame present but well melted. It is a wine of a beautiful balance with a long finish that tends on the acidity while keeping a beautiful fruitiness.
Tasting :
Supple and generous, it will delight your taste buds now but for patients, with the aging, it will be enriched with notes of spices and undergrowth and gain finesse.
Pairings :
Wine with enough volume and flesh to accompany a rabbit in gibelotte or a salmis of guinea fowl .
