Magnum Corton-Maréchaudes Grand Cru 2019, Château de Meursault

Located halfway up the hillside, under the Bressandes, on a shallow limestone terroir exposed to the east, this plot benefits from an early maturity. The wine produced by Château de Meursault combines power and finesse. The dress is of a beautiful deep garnet. The nose exudes gourmet scents of strawberry and black cherry nuanced by a few notes of peony and a hint of spices. The fleshy and structured palate is endowed with tannins well present but silky suggesting a beautiful potential for aging. The finish is long and subtly woody.
