Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru 2019, Domaine Faiveley

Located on the northernmost part of the Côte, Charmes-Chambertin among the most extensive of the great wines of Gevrey-Chambertin, gives a rich and elegant wine without excessive power. This 2019 vintage of Domaine Faiveley is a fine example of the appellation. It is adorned with a sparkling dress of a very strong ruby. The beautifully sweet nose suggests aromas of currant, raspberry, cherry stone with a floral touch of rose and a hint of licorice. Once mature, it will develop a host of tertiary shades such as leather, mushroom, meat or spices. On the palate, it is fleshy, concentrated and full of finesse and distinction with an impressive persistence and a beautiful structure that guarantees it a great longevity.

Tasting :
This great breed wine will need about ten years to demonstrate all its qualities and will live a long apogee thereafter.
