This wine will need a good ten years to fully assert itself and demonstrate the true dimensions of its aromatic palette.

The nobility of this wine demands rich, complex pairings. So it’s only natural to pair it with a tasty mature rib-eye steak or a fillet of venison with Burgundy truffle purée. As for cheeses, soft and washed-rind cheeses abound in Burgundy.
