Chablis Grand Cru Les Preuses 2022, Domaine Nathalie et Gilles Fèvre

We’re in Burgundy!

This parcel enjoys an exceptional location on a southeast-facing slope overlooking the neighboring Grands Crus. Both trained oenologists, the Fèvre couple have been making authentic, generous wines since 2004. This 2022 vintage is a perfect example. The color is a brilliant pale gold. The nose opens with notes of flint, white flowers and honey, followed after a short aeration by greedier aromas of white fruit, brioche and fresh butter. The palate is fresh and ample, with fine balance and perfect acidity. The long finish is subtly iodized.

Tasting:

Already very affordable, this fine Chardonnay can be forgotten for 8 to 10 years in a good cellar.
