It reigns supreme on the Côte Chalonnaise!
The only village appellation from the aligoté, Bouzeron is cultivated in Saône-et-Loire in the communes of Bouzeron and Chassey-le-Camp. The vines are planted exclusively at the top of limestone and sunny hillsides of the Bouzeron valley. This earned it the nickname of golden aligoté. This chiseled and vibrant wine has a pale gold color. The nose releases a subtle blend of white flowers and lemon notes with a slight woody touch. On the palate, a beautiful mineral freshness, a lot of citrus and a gourmet vivacity that reveals the typicity of its grape variety.
Tasting :
This grape variety gives wines to drink on freshness and to which aging does not bring great changes.
Pairings :
Inseparable from the aperitif, it will perfectly accompany our local specialties such as marbled ham. But its great minerality will sharpen the iodine flavor of an oyster platter.
Awards :
Concours Général Agricole: silver medal Paris 2020
