Nicolas Rolin, the founder of the Hospices de Beaune, would no doubt be proud of this wine, which is among the most beautiful cuvées of the 2013 vintage.

Its dark ruby colour is a gage of maturity. Nose of red and black fruits, spices and undergrowth. Intense mouth of great aromatic complexity with notes of ripe cherries, roasting and undergrowth. Nice and long finish with well patinated tannins and a nice minerality to conclude.
