Magnum Saint Romain blanc 2020, Christophe Buisson

Nestled between Meursault and Pommard, the village of Saint-Romain with its cliff culminating at 450 m above sea level, offers us one of the most beautiful views of the region. Its vines sheltered by rock, on marl-limestone soils with clay banks, produce excellent white wines. On this beautiful vintage, Christophe Buisson delivers us a wine with a limpid color, a beautiful pale gold and a nose both fruity and floral with some notes of hazelnut, toast and vanilla. The fresh, ample and oily palate is supported by a subtle woodiness. The finish is long and mineral with fruity accents.

Tasting :
This frank and dry wine takes 4 to 5 years to evolve and it will then develop a nice mellow with aromas of ripe yellow fruits and a slight honey.

Pairings :
If it accompanies perfectly fish and seafood, it is also quite comfortable with a Cîteaux or a Brillat-Savarin.
